When I saw info about this exhibition back in November 2017, I was so time constricted that I couldn’t visit till January 2018. I finally had the privilege of paying a visit to the Victoria & Albert Museum for this long awaited Balenciaga: Shaping Fashion Exhibition.
Christóbel Balenciaga is one is the greats I look up to in the fashion designer world. Going to his exhibition really opened my eyes not only about his ethics, drive and vision but also my own! This trip gave me the further confidence and determination I needed, along with a sense of endurance. The exhibition itself was absolutely beautiful and words can’t describe the experience! It had 2 floors; one showing his designs and the other designers who were inspired by him. I spent at least 2 hours taking in everything I could!
